Keith Packer - CEO

Keith was appointed Chief Executive in March 2009. He has been with Typhoo for three years now, previously to this he has worked for Britvic, Pfizer, Allied Bakeries and Sainsbury's. Keith's role is to lead the company to become regarded as a great organisation. ‘We have set a clear purpose for what we stand for as a company and are always trying to continually improve how we operate and how we market our brands. Typhoo is an iconic British brand which the whole organisation is proud to be associated with.' Keith is a keen half marathon runner and there is nothing better than a cup of Typhoo at the end of a long run!

How do you like your tea?
Strong with half fat milk

What's your first memory of tea?
When I stayed at my grandparents they made ‘proper tea' (loose tea in a teapot), my first memory is the great smell of tea emanating from the teapot and having a mug of milky tea with a couple of teaspoons of sugar in.

 

Somnath Saha – Finance Director

Somnath was appointed as Finance Director in June 2009. He is a Finance Professional and qualified Accountant and has a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA), specialising in Finance. He has worked in various senior finance and accounts positions in India and Europe for Usha Martin Group, Brunton Shaw UK, BCL Finance and Britannia Ind. prior to this. He has immense general business and management knowledge together with international accounting, Finance and ERP systems expertise.

How do you like your tea?
Strong tea (two tea bags) with full cream milk and two sugars.

What's your first memory of tea?
When I was school boy, my mom made a cup (a steel mug) of sweet milky tea (loose leaf tea, boiled in milk & water). It was a nice Darjeeling flavour tea.
